Former Secretary of State Dean Acheson (under Harry Truman, one of the greatest Presidents this country was ever so blessed to have served in the office) once made this remark, re “free speech” and the invocation of the First Amendment…

Per Mr. Acheson…”The First Amendment of the Constitution is a restraint on government, not an incentive to the citizen.”

Thank you, Mr. Secretary of State.

And taking a hint from the Mr. Acheson’s comment, even though I have a great deal more to say about this subject, I’m going to ignore the strident demands currently being made by my brain, to direct my hands to continue typing and telling, and just dummy up.

Anybody else?
